iii. magi

MAGI AND WITCHES

so magi here are the main focus of the site. they're boys and girls contracted during puberty (weird, right) to have their emotions feed the universe, basically. magi, when contracted, get one (pretty) reasonable wish granted. after their wish is granted, their soul goes out of their body and becomes a gem that they then keep on them in some concealed form. they get a form of magic from their wish, and weapons to fight witches with.

however, using their magic taints their soul gem. if it goes completely black, the magi begins to turn into a witch. and their soul gem turns into a grief seed. most witches drop a grief seed, occasionally one won't, which can purify the gem usually once or twice before breaking. 

by beginning to turn into a witch, (we're going to call them fallen for shorthand, eheh) a fallen cannot be seen or felt or heard by humans, but can by magi and people incubators (the contractors). they have an urge to kill a magi, which gets stronger as time goes on and eventually becomes unbearable. they will never become normal again, but when they kill a magi, a fallen will finally turn into a witch.

witches are the final form of all magi. when a fallen kills a magi, they turn into a witch. witches, in summary, have a labyrinth and minions. they cannot be seen by normal humans like fallen, and some natural disasters are caused by them. once in a witch's labyrinth, a magi must go through and look for the witch, while fighting minions, who don't have grief seeds. we're not going to get into familiars here, but if you want more details on witches, read up here. if you want to fight a witch, please pm this account or ask in the cbox for a witch and give a link to the thread you want the witch in, and one will be posted by staff.
